Passion, Fun and Motivation are some of attributes I bring to Mommy and Baby Fitness Workout & Play!

My name is Ada and I am the instructor for the Brampton/Bolton area.  I am a certified Fitness Instructor as well as a Personal Trainer with Can-Fit-Pro. I have been a fitness instructor since 2003 and love every minute of it. I have trained ladies of all ages, fitness levels and all with their individual fitness goals.

As the mother of two young children, I know first hand what a woman goes through pre and post pregnancy. I can relate to the struggle of getting back into shape and the moments when you just want to give up. A difficult labour with my first child in March 2005 resulted in a C-section, restricting me from any kind of physical activity for more than 8 weeks. Getting back into my pre-pregnancy weight proved to be very challenging but with the right nutrition and workout routine I was able to get back into shape (it took me a year!).

However, I delivered my daughter naturally in October 2007 and was able to return to regular physical activity after only 2 weeks! After my second pregnancy, it was like my body knew what to do and it was much easier to get back into shape.

After both pregnancies, I kept active and followed a nutrition/fitness routine. At times it seems like you are never going to get there and it can be discouraging, but you have to give your body time and keep at it!

My passion for fitness, combined with the ups and downs of motherhood, have made me so much more empathetic towards women who are trying so hard to get back into shape, whether they have had kids or not. Every one of them has a story, and they are eager to write a new chapter about their journey. I am here for them, to Motivate them, to show them how to have Fun while working out and to help them develop a Passion for their individual fitness/wellness goals.

Outside of my family and the world of Fitness, my other passion is ice hockey which I have played for the last 15 years. In my spare time, I give back to the community by being a volunteer driver and fitness instructor for a cancer patience resource centre in Brampton.

Mommy and Baby Stroller Fitness – OUTDOORS (by Ada)

This interactive and fun class is much more than just a walk in the park!  Your session includes power walking while pushing your baby in the stroller, and incorporates cross-training for full body muscular strengthening and conditioning while we go!  Babies will enjoy the fresh air, and mommies will get a great workout suitable for all fitness levels.   For babies 6 weeks to 24 months old.

Mommy and Baby Fitness Workout & Play Class

This program is a must for a new Mom of any fitness level. This action-packed class (1 hr and 15 min.) includes a warm up for Mom with baby followed by a workout routine for Mom which is both fun and challenging. After the Mom ‘Workout’, comes the ‘Play’ segment including infant stimulation, songs, rhymes, finger-play, knee-bouncers, parachute activities, bubbles, and more. A great way to socialize with other mommies and bond with your baby while working out to get back into shape.  Toddlers are welcome to this class!

NEW! Mommy and Baby Yoga Class (by Sabrina)

A gentle yet challenging yoga class for mommy and baby together!  Instructor Sabrina will help you ease into physical activity while still providing  a good workout for your mind, body and soul.  We involve Baby in some of our balance and strengthening asanas, as well as incorporating some mommy-only postures and poses to strengthen the body and promote relaxation.  You don’t have to be an experienced yogi to participate as this class is suitable for all levels from beginner to advance.  Babies aged 6 weeks to crawling.

My name is Sabrina Savoy and I am excited to join the Mommy and Baby Fitness Bolton location this January. I bring 200 RYT hours certified with Yoga Alliance trained in Hatha Vinyasa style.  I have also trained in Usui Reiki and received the title of Master in 2010.  Since then I’ve been teaching yoga, Reiki, and meditation classes throughout the Caledon community, helping people find peace, strength, and confidence to lead the life they desire.  I am a mother to a growing family and ecstatic to bring inspiration and wellness to you.
